The Polar Express

Yesterday we all went to the "Polar Express." Ava got to ride a train, eat cookies, sing songs, and go to the "North Pole." She LOVED the train ride. Santa on the other hand....not so much. She seems to love Santa in books, ornaments, or dolls....but the real thing is another story. She was a trooper though and managed to get past Santa without absolutely freaking out..... and at the end she got a bell. That made it all better :)

The Tree

Last weekend we went to pick out our Christmas tree. Once we put it up, we were a little worried as Ava tried to grab each ornament off the tree. She was in heaven, pointing at the tree saying "balls, balls!" Her favorite ornament is Santa...she has even wanted to kiss it, and a few times before bed she has to go and say "bye" to Santa. She has gotten much better with the tree and the novelty has worn off..... and the ornaments remain on the tree:)
