Persistent Ava
Meet baby:
Day 1: Ava and I went to our local toy store a few weeks ago and out of a pile of dolls, Ava picked him up. I quickly looked at the price and was astonished that this little doll was 16.00!! I told Ava to say "byebye" to the doll and took it away. Well, Ava wasn't happy. After screaming and crying, I decided to let her carry the doll around the store, and then sneak the doll away. Well, it worked.
Day 2: My mom came to visit and I wanted to take her to this store, so once again we walked by the baby isle and Ava found her friend..... and held tightly onto the little doll throughout the entire store. Grandma Kathy was going to get her it, but I told her that it was too expensive and Ava would survive without it :) .... was I wrong....
Day 3. (yes I go to the toy store a lot......) Back at the store for a big sale. Ava decides she doesn't want to sit in her stroller, so I take her out and let her push it around the store. She pushes it over to the baby isle. Points "up" and out of a pile of dolls, finds her little friend AGAIN. This time, I knew it was meant to be.... I broke down and bought her the doll, and ever since, baby goes everywhere with her. She pats his back, and gives him a lot of hugs and kisses :) Is it bad that she already knows how to get what she wants? :)

11 months!!
I can't believe you are 11 months today. Almost a year...eek!! Crazy how time flies. I love you so much. Happy 11 month birthday sweetie!

We are alive!
It has been a while since I last posted. I guess we have been busy! Ava is getting so big- I can't believe she will be 1 in a month! She has been doing so many new tricks, the biggest is she can stand on her own without holding on to anything for 30 seconds or so. She is talking up a storm and aside from her non stop gibberish, she say "bye", "MaMa", "Daaa for Daddy", and "Dahh" for dog. Here are some recent pictures!
